Written by Administrator. Posted in Meetings

On Sunday 15th October, Kendal Rotary planted 20,000 crocus bulbs on Castle Green Lane and the top of Parkside Road.

For the past six years with the backing of the Kendal in Bloom committee, the club has planted crocuses on many of the approach roads into Kendal and to date, they have planted 90,000 bulbs. The reason for crocus bulbs is to highlight the Rotary initiative to eradicate polio worldwide which is nearing completion.
